Collections and expositions LV RU EN
The Old park was planted in 1935. Our advice is to pay attention to the laciniate-leaved birch (Betula pendula ‘Crispa’), pendulous forms of some trees: elm (Ulmus glabra ‘Camperdown’), spruce (Picea abies ‘Inversa’), and alder (Alnus incana ‘Pendula’), so as rare in latvia honey locust (Gleditsia triacanthos) and magnolia (Magnolia cobus).

Lilacs (Syringa) exposition, placed in the left side by the entrance, are partly conserved old cultivars, introduced into Latvia in the last century from the famous L.Spaeth firm in Berlin, but especially we advice to pay your attention to cultivars of Latvian breeder Peteris Upitis.
